Part of Community Screenings at the Drive-In, the Philadelphia Film Society is proud to partner with the African American Museum in Philadelphia and WHYY to present Tulsa: the Fire and the Forgotten. One hundred years after the destruction of the Black-owned Greenwood district of Tulsa, Oklahoma – one of the worst incidents of racial violence in U.S. history – the film explores vital issues of atonement, reconciliation and reparation.
