Enjoy five blocks of FREE entertainment, food and fun for all ages July 4 from 12 noon to 7 p.m. at Party on the Parkway.

Families can enjoy an interactive kid’s area featuring the Strider Bikes obstacle course, Zipline, games, and make-and-take arts and crafts. Animal lovers can bring their furry friends to enjoy the Amtrak Pet Friendly area. The 21+ crowd can kick back and relax in two beer gardens, and all can enjoy the diverse food and music from the Philly Groove stage.

For the second year, KIDZ BOP Kids will perform the group’s only free live concert on July 4 on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway at 1 p.m. on the main stage. Bring the kids!

Inner Power Records

Inner Power Records is a student run record label founded in 2011. The label provides aspiring artists and producers with tools and resources (in a classroom environment) to jump start a career in digital media production. The class heavily promotes positivity and healing the community through music. The name Inner Power refers to the talent everyone has and can discover in him or herself. The class, which takes place in a fully equipped recording studio, focuses on music composition (making beats), songwriting, recording, performing and creating a finished product. Teen members of Inner Power Records use and develop creative, technical, and administrative skills in order to run a successful business with a high quality product. Student producers, writers, and performers, own the rights to the songs they have created on the IPR label.

Udini La Voz

Odin Palacio, better known as Udini La Voz, is a Panamanian music artist originally from San Miguel. La Voz raps in Spanish and English and uses his music as a vehicle to bring cultures together. He has three albums and a mixtape under his belt, and is currently showcasing his talent at events such as festivals, private parties, and schools, etc. Over the years he had the privilege of working with a number of talented artists and producers, most notable is Master Producer and friend, Michael F Ellis, the originator of Reggaeton.
Udini La Voz is one of the founding members of Higher Than 7 Productions
(, a group of like-minded creative artists pushing the boundaries of music, art, and fashion. He makes sure he surrounds himself with innovators and has built a team made up of ambitious individuals that believe hard work is the only way to the top. When not in the studio Udini La Voz makes sure he’s on stage, and interacting with his fans. “I feel most comfortable in front of people, and it’s my favorite place to showcase my talent,” says Udini La Voz.
In October 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2016 Udini La Voz led the Panamanian Day Parade in Brooklyn NY. He carried the Panama flag proudly in those four years, and has performed at the parades festivals in front of thousands of people. He has also performed in many Hispanic Festivals and private community events around the states of NY, PA, MD, DE, NJ. This year Udini La Voz performed at the biggest Festivals in the city of Philadelphia which was the Hispanic Fiesta.
Udini La Voz also visits High School and does public speaking to motivate the young students with his experiences as a visionary and a former student athlete. Udini La Voz has donated his talent to many fund raising events. Udini La Voz is the Host of the new bilingual TV Show ATREVETE at PhillyCam Latino that plays on TV in Philadelphia every week on Comcast and Verizon. In the year 2016 he became the first board member of the Panama International Tri-State Alliance (PIT-SA) located in the city of Philadelphia. His responsibility as a member of this Alliance is to make sure that his native country Panama is recognized amongst the other countries and part of everything that’s going on within the Hispanic communities.



The Big Bleu Band is a 6-8 piece horn band that plays the best mix of Motown, Dance, Rock, Pop and Disco. They play all around the tri-state areas and up and down the Jersey Shore at various festivals, casinos, clubs, weddings, corporate parties and even Citizens Bank Park!

Henry Nam

What makes for a memorable, meaningful live performance? Catering to the compassionate introvert in us all, Henry Nam combines a dazzlingly exuberant display of percussive, fingerstyle acoustic guitar acrobatics with humorously intimate storytelling that wows, warms, and educates audiences internationally. Having lived and traveled around the world, Henry is the product of an international, multicultural upbringing that manifests not only in his diverse musical styling but also in his attitudes about the role of the arts as a universal language able to help people of all backgrounds build meaningful connection and communicate constructively. He is currently collaborating with the University of Missouri – Kansas City’s mathematics department for the Folk Alliance International’s artist in residence program’s performance & presentation in February 2018.


Born and raised Philadelphia rockstars, LETS RIDE, will take the stage on the 4th of July and treat the crowd to some modern country covers. LETS RIDE is comprised of a great group of home grown Philly guys who have played in various successful Rock n Roll bands that have thrived in the bar/lounge/club scene in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland. During their time on stage you will here cover songs from the most popular modern country bands including Luke Bryan,Florida Georgia Line, Jason Aldean, Thomas Rhett, Brantley Gilbert, Rascal Flatts, Keith Urban, Sam Hunt, and many more!

Power Surge PAC

Power Surge PAC, LLC is a company of singers and dancers from across the Tri-state who train in all styles of dance. Power Surge performances include Philadelphia’s 6ABC Thanksgiving day parade, Walt Disney World’s Performing Arts Youth Program, Walt Disney World’s Electrical Parade, Dance the World stage show in Epcot, Dancing for Life in Philadelphia, Love that Child in Nassau, Bahamas, Wawa Welcomes America, Hershey Park, Washington DC’s Cherry Blossom parade and other showcases and charitable events. Power Surge is owned and directed by Joanne McBride and located in Springfield, PA.

Briz and The Revival

Briz and The Revival is an energetic r&b/funk band, with a passionate vocalist, dynamic rhythm section and dj that charms and capture every audience with their sound.
Their soul melodies have been nourished by Philly Soul and is a welcome revolution from the average artist in rotation. Briz and The Revival formed shortly after the release of Briz’s independent project “Love And Light” (2016), which Grammy award winning producer Keith Pelzer reviewed: “Love the lyrics, flow and style. Great pen!” 2016 continued to be an exciting year of live performances with the height being the QVC Christmas Parade in West Chester, PA with a crowd of 30,000 people!

Members of the band hail from Coatesville and Philadelphia, PA. Their live sets thrill as they move through different genres. Flawlessly fusing r&b, jazz, rock and funk. Their music is honest and alive.

With a 20 year background in the music industry, DJ Flex welcomes your next event with a confident appearance and masterful control for your listening pleasure.
DJ Flex’s extensive knowledge of diverse musical genres is matched only by his expansive library. Keeping the dance floor packed with energy & excitement, teenagers and mature adults alike have enjoyed his musical expertise at wedding receptions, birthday parties, high school proms, and various milestone events. Staying at the forefront of cutting edge technology within the industry, his knowledge of current virtual DJ and computer software only serves to enhance his ability to customize each event, maximizing every beat to every track, and creating the unique “FLEX EXPERIENCE”.

The Bethany Miracle Center Team

The Bethany Miracle Center Team is part of Bethany Miracle Center Church located in South Philadelphia area. The team was born out of a passion to spread the message of love and hope through dance and music. The BMC Team had the honor to perform for the Mayor of Philadelphia during Indonesian week in 2014 – 2016 at city hall. The team also performed for many other city-wide events in Philadelphia. The BMC Team brings fresh and unique talents from its members that come from wide range of age and background.

In celebrating BMC Church’s 2nd annual “Thank You America” event this year with Welcome America, the BMC Team has put together a special performance that combined different cultures in Philadelphia.

DANCE4LIFE School of the Arts and Training Institute is under the direction of Chauntee D. Andrews. Offering a full range of dance training from ballet to hip hop and all points in between. Training begins as early as age 3, and welcomes those that are “young at heart” as well. The performance troupe is made up of outstanding young dancers. 

Tiana Thomas

Tiana Thomas was born on January 1, 2002. Tiana is currently a sophomore at Parkway Northwest High School for Social Justice and Peace. She developed her love for singing at a young age when she began singing in the choir at Enon Tabernacle Baptist Church. In addition to singing, Tiana has as her hobbies acting and writing poetry and music. Professionally, Tiana aspires to sing, write music, act and direct movies and plays. Tiana is inspired by Beyoncé, Bruno Mars, Demi Lovato, and Tyler Perry. Her debut single Missing Me was released on May 1, 2017.


SHAWNA THOMAS—a 17-year-old, rising artist from Philadelphia, PA—is armed with a powerhouse belting voice that moves the heart and pierces the soul. Shawna is embarking on her professional musical journey and is getting ready to take the industry by storm. Her passion for singing, emotional conviction, and exceptional control makes her a force to be reckoned with! From the biggest power tune, to a raw, chilling ballad, Shawna’s delivery is always powerful and memorable.

Over the past few years, Shawna has been recording, performing live, and developing her own unique style and image. Her work has created a buzz from coast to coast and has acquired recognition and notoriety from some of the industry’s top recording artists and professionals. Recently, Shawna even caught the attention of one of the music industry’s biggest producers who has written and produced chart-topping hits for countless legendary divas, including Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey and Aretha Franklin.

Currently, Shawna is in development with JBCMUSIC management and is working on original material, new packaging and her electronic press kit (EPK).

Shawna has performed at the world famous Apollo Theater in New York City, American Heritage Federal Credit Union’s Grand Illumination, Wawa Welcome America Party on the Parkway!, cover sets of current, classic and inspirational songs at various charity events and foundations, as well as the national anthem at sports arenas and other professional venues, including Wells Fargo Center, The Palestra, Frawley Stadium, and Delaware Park Racetrack & Slots.

The Royal Mix

The Royal Mix, a Philadelphia based female performance group, consists of three talented young ladies, Aniyah Ha aka Chy, Saniyah Babb aka Jaye and Iendia Powell aka Lady T.

They are referred to as urban princesses and were formed in 2016 as hip-hop artists who love to dance. The Royal Mix was spearheaded by Vera Poitier and through her vision and guidance they are and emerging talent. Their music lyrics reflect positivity and is an expression of children who enjoy having fun. In addition to performing original music they also feature excerpts from classic R&B, pop, hip-hop and inspirational songs.

The most important aspect of The Royal Mixis their dedication to grow as performers while maintaining good grades in school. They have had the advantage of showcasing their talent to mega producer, Charles Austin aka Charlie Mack, worked with celebrity choreographer, Darrin Henson and have performed live at parties and events. To add their accomplishments, The Royal Mix welcomes the many opportunities to perform at several different events and festivals this summer. The Royal Mix is grateful to be able to capture the attention of audiences of all ages and is dedicated to achieving the goal of being received by youth across the country as respected role models. Music Monkey Jungle

Music Monkey Jungle, Philadelphia’s GREATEST interactive music group, strives to provide high-quality, fun and affordable programming for little music monkeys and the primates who love them. We focus on bringing communities of all ages, abilities, shapes and sizes together through original songs, dances and games, with a strong emphasis on amazingly catchy and educational lyrics. We are based in Philadelphia, PA and collaborate with businesses who have the like-minded mission of giving back to their communities. After all, “We are the music-makers and we are the dreamers of dreams”. Art in Motion Latin Dancers (AIM)

AIM was founded on the principles of unity, teamwork, and commitment to achieve world-class excellence of technique, form, and styling of salsa dance. AIM specializes in other Latin dance genres including bachata, mambo, merengue, cha-cha-cha, and more. Following its debut in February 2004, AIM has emerged as one of the leading salsa dance teams on the East Coast. Within the past 13 years, the team has become the top team based in the Philadelphia area and have respectfully earned recognition as “Philly’s finest.”

The AIM company is overseen by World Bachata Champion Dancer and Instructor Darlin Garcia, AIM’s founder and artistic director. Darlin has earned several World Championship titles. He has contributed his up-tempo, creativity, and innovative style helping the team shift to a new direction and exceed standards nationwide and worldwide.

DJ Jazzy Josh

From Bucks County, DJ Jazzy Josh is only 14 years old, but he’s in high demand. He regularly DJ’s at a local skating rink, events, and private parties. He loves mixing all types of music and always focuses on making sure people have a great time. He is super pumped to be a part of the 2017 4th of July Wawa Welcome America festival. In his spare time, he loves free running and tricking. Whatever he’s doing, he’s always having fun. Join the party with DJ Jazzy Josh at the Kids Zone, he can’t wait to see everyone dancing and having a blast at this special holiday event!

Greater Philadelphia Asian Culture Center

The Greater Philadelphia Asian Culture Center (GPACC) was founded in 2002. GPACC is a non-profit, educational organization dedicated to sharing the beauty and grandeur of traditional Asian culture with communities throughout the Greater Philadelphia region. The Center’s objectives are to enhance cultural exchange and mutual understanding between East and West, and to serve as a link between Asian American and mainstream American communities throughout Greater Philadelphia. GPACC members have been actively devoted to spreading the principles of truth, compassion and tolerance, the fundamental values of the spiritual practice of Falun Gong, at the same time, serving as the human rights ambassadors to raise the awareness of the brutal persecution against this beautiful practice in the Communist China today.

Our performers will be delighted to celebrate the independence of our adopted country and to share the culture of our native country here in Philadelphia, the cradle of liberty, through their performances.
