Throughout the day talented artists will create works of art inspired by our country’s independence on the Artist’s Stage. The Musical Performance Stage will feature community groups with pop up performances from a strolling Dixieland band, barbershop quartet, fife and drum corps and many more! Over at the Freedom of Speech Stage, actors will recite portions of historical speeches which define our country; there will also be poets, storytelling and appearances by historical characters.

Make and take activities and lawn games will be available throughout the day. Children may compete in traditional activities such as sack and wheelbarrow races, bubble blowing and so much more. If that doesn’t seem challenging enough, guests can try their luck along the midway area where a variety of challenging games await! Keep a lookout in this area because several times throughout the day a pop up parade led by a fife and drum corps will take place. The pop up parades will include several strolling characters that will have guests join in!
Along 5th and 6th street, there will be a plethora of food trucks offering something for every taste. Strategically placed amongst them will be crafters with plenty to browse and shop.
