Free Museum Day: Bartram’s Garden House

Event Description:

Bartram’s Garden is America’s first botanical garden, and exists today as a living classroom, laboratory, and place of respite for the people of Philadelphia and beyond. The Garden is home to plants collected by early American botanists John and William Bartram, many of which had never been seen in Philadelphia before the Bartrams planted them here. Today, we carry on the Bartram’s botanical legacy through our living collection and educational programming. The historic Bartram family house will be open to the public for FREE entry from 10am-4pm.
