Citywide Reading at Haddington Library

Event Description

Join us for an entertaining, kid-friendly afternoon filled with fun activities from Minizines, a workshop that furthers the goals of Make Art Philly by providing examples and instruction in something that can be made relatively quickly from materials often readily at hand (including recyclables), but also helps participants make their own visions come to life. Preliterate and literate participants can use words and images to tell stories ranging from everyday actions to fantasy.

Hear stories from guest readers, and receive a FREE book courtesy of Books in Homes USA! Special thank you to our partners at the Office of Arts, Culture & Creative Economy.

Other participating Free Library branches include:

Lawncrest Library

Logan Library

Whitman Library

A special thanks to PECO for helping make these community events possible and to the Free Library of Philadelphia for hosting this great event.
